“On June 5, 2006, the Muckraker Report contacted the FBI Headquarters, 202-324-3000, to learn why Bin Laden’s Most Wanted poster did not indicate that Usama was also wanted in connection with 9/11. The Muckraker Report spoke with Rex Tomb, Chief of Investigative Publicity for the FBI. When asked why there is no mention of 9/11 on Bin Laden’s Most Wanted web page, Tomb said: 'The reason why 9/11 is not mentioned on Usama Bin Laden’s Most Wanted page is because the FBI has no hard evidence connecting Bin Laden to 9/11. Bin Laden has not been formally charged in connection to 9/11. The FBI gathers evidence. Once evidence is gathered, it is turned over to the Department of Justice. The Department of Justice than decides whether it has enough evidence to present to a federal grand jury. In the case of the 1998 United States Embassies being bombed, Bin Laden has been formally indicted and charged by a grand jury. Indeed, the Washington Post noted in 2007: 'Retired FBI agent Daniel Coleman, who led an examination of documents after Abu Zubaida's capture in early 2002 and worked on the case, said the CIA's harsh tactics cast doubt on the credibility of Abu Zubaida's information. "I don't have confidence in anything he says, because once you go down that road, everything you say is tainted," Coleman said, referring to the harsh measures. "He was talking before they did that to him, but they didn't believe him. The problem is they didn't realize he didn't know all that much."'" To me questions haven't been answered and are not being answered about 9/11. Two planes struck two buildings....but how is it that a third building fell 5 hours later? How could this building just implode into its own footprint 5 hours later - that's my first question - the 9/11 Commission didn't even devote one page to that in their big volume of investigation. How could those buildings fall at the speed of gravity - if you put a stopwatch on them both of those World Trade Center buildings were on the ground in ten seconds - how can that be? If you took a billiard ball and dropped it from the height of the World Trade Center in a vacuum it would hit the ground in 9.3 seconds and if you took that same billiard ball and dropped it 10 stories at a time and merely stopped it and started it it would take 30 seconds - if you dropped it every floor of the World Trade Center to the ground, simply stopping and starting it on gravity it would take over 100 seconds to reach the ground. Jet fuel is four fifths kerosene - which is not a hot burning fuel - and they wanted us to believe it melted these steel structured girders and caused these buildings to pancake collapse to the ground. I was on the site within two weeks after it happened and I saw none of these pancakes - wouldn't they all be piled up in a huge mass on the ground and yet everything was blown into dust - when you look at it from that aspect none of it makes any sense. Never before in the annuls of history has a fire caused a steel structure building to fall to the ground like these two did. Upon looking at the film in super-slow motion and the way the buildings fell and comparing that to the way that they do like a controlled demolition of a hotel in Las Vegas, they both fell identical. I did watch the film of Building 7 going down and in my opinion there's no doubt that that building was brought down with demolition. When I was watching Loose Change with a friend of mine - he happens to work for a company that helps build the Boeing airplanes and they said that when the engines completely disappeared and were destroyed, his response was, excuse my French - bullshit! I turned to him and said why and he said because they're made of titanium steel - they can't disintegrate. We don't want to lose our country, after all it's still our country and until they put us down we have the power." QUESTION: "Mr President, in your speeches, you rarely mention Osama Bin Laden. The curious omission underscores the Justice Department's decision, so far, to not seek formal criminal charges against bin Laden for approving al-Qaeda's most notorious and successful terrorist attack. The notice says bin Laden is "a suspect in other terrorist attacks throughout the world" but does not provide details. The absence has also provided fodder for conspiracy theorists who think the U.S. government or another power was behind the Sept. 11 hijackings. From this point of view, the lack of a Sept. 11 reference suggests that the connection to al-Qaeda is uncertain. 'There's no mystery here,' said FBI spokesman Rex Tomb. 'They could add 9/11 on there, but they have not because they don't need to at this point. There is a logic to it.' David N. Kelley, the former U.S. attorney in New York who oversaw terrorism cases when bin Laden was indicted for the embassy bombings there in 1998, said he is not at all surprised by the lack of a reference to Sept. 11 on the official wanted poster. Kelley said the issue is a matter of legal restrictions and the need to be fair to any defendant. 'It might seem a little strange from the outside, but it makes sense from a legal point of view," said Kelley, now in private practice. "If I were in government, I'd be troubled if I were asked to put up a wanted picture where no formal charges had been filed, no matter who it was.' Bin Laden was placed on the Ten Most Wanted list in June 1999 after being indicted for murder, conspiracy and other charges in connection with the embassy bombings, and a $5 million reward was put on his head at that time. The listing was updated after Sept. 11, 2001, to include a higher reward of $25 million, but no mention of the attacks was added." FBI Most Wanted Terrorist AlCIAduh List: American JEW is the only person charged with TREASON since World War 2 - A 28-year-old California man has been indicted on federal charges of treason and providing material support to a terrorist group for making a series of propaganda videotapes for al Qaeda, including one in which he praised the hijackers involved in the 9/11 attacks and referred to the U.S. as "enemy soil." The charges filed in the Central District of California say Adam Gadahn, also known as Azzam the American, "gave al Qaeda aid and comfort … with intent to betray the United States." Gadahn is the first person to be charged with treason against the U.S. since the World War II era. The FBI added Gadahn to the Most Wanted Terrorists list and the U.S. Department of State is offering a reward of up to $1 million for information leading to Gadahn's arrest. "Adam Gadahn represents a new breed of home-grown extremist, who has chosen to betray the country of his birth," FBI Executive Assistant Director Willie Hulon said during a press conference Wednesday in Washington, D.C. Gadahn, a former resident of Orange County, appeared in a series of videotaped segments that were broadcast between October 2004 and September 11, 2006. In the first tape, Gadahn is wearing black sunglasses and a headdress wrapped around his face. He identified himself as Azzam the American and announced his relationship with al Qaeda. "The streets of America shall run red with blood," Gadahn said on the 2004 broadcast. In a broadcast in 2005, around the fourth anniversary of the 9/11 attacks, Gadahn called the attacks "blessed raids" and discussed the "jihad against America." Earlier this summer, Gadahn appeared in a videotape that also contained statements from al Qaeda leaders Usama bin Laden and Ayman al-Zawahiri. More recent propaganda broadcasts aired Sept. 2 and on the fifth anniversary of 9/11. Gadahn, who is believed to be overseas, is 5 feet 11 inches tall and weighs about 210 pounds. He has brown hair, hazel eyes, and scars on his chest and right forearm. He should be considered armed and dangerous.

$1 million for arrest of American al Qaeda JEW charged with treason - An American al Qaeda propagandist was indicted Wednesday on treason charges, the first person charged with the offense during the United States' war on terrorism, officials said. Adam Yahiye Gadahn, who has appeared in five al Qaeda videos, is also charged with offering material support for terrorism, U.S. Deputy Attorney General Paul McNulty said. He has been put on the FBI's Most Wanted Terrorists list, and the State Department is offering a $1 million reward for information leading to his arrest and conviction. The 28-year-old California native is the first American to face the charge since the World War II era, McNulty said. "A charge of treason is exceptionally severe, and it is not one we bring lightly," McNulty said at a news conference in Washington. "But this is the right case for this charge." According to Wikipedia, he was born Adam Pearlman on September 1, 1978, the grandson of a prominent Jewish surgeon and the son of musician Phil Pearlman, who converted to Christianity and changed his named to Gadahn (apparently derived from the Biblical figure Gideon.) He grew up in Santa Ana, California, converted to Islam and, in 1995, posted an essay on the USC Web site describing his conversion. According to his parents, Gadahn moved to Pakistan in 1998, where he married an Afghani refugee. The FBI believes he attended al-Qaida training camps in Pakistan and served as an al-Qaida translator and English spokesman. It was the second time Gadahn has appeared in the same video with Zawahri. In a July 7 video marking the one-year anniversary of bombings against the London transit system, Gadahn said no Muslim should "shed tears" for Westerners killed by al-Qaida attacks. Moussaoui wrote that he pleaded guilty because he mistakenly thought the Supreme Court would immediately review his objection to being denied the opportunity to call captured enemy combatant witnesses to buttress his claim of not being involved in the 9/11 plot. An appeals court agreed with the government that national security would be at risk if captured operatives like 9/11 mastermind Khalid Shaikh Mohammed testified or were even questioned by Moussaoui's lawyers. Instead, statements taken from their interrogations were read to the jury. Shaikh Mohammed's statements said Moussaoui was never considered for the 9/11 plot. "What became known as the ‘”Detroit sleeper cell” terrorism case began six days after September 11, 2001, when a Detroit
apartment was searched by federal agents looking for a person on the FBI’s Terrorist Watch List. That man, Nabil al-
Marabh, was not found. It was the first post-9/11 terrorism trial in the U.S. On September 4, 2003, Richard "Dick" Convertino and his
co-counsel were removed from the case. The federal prosecutor who took over the case soon discovered that Convertino had failed to disclose significant Brady discovery evidence to the defendant’s lawyers. The concealed evidence included: multiple aerial photos of the military hospital; multiple exculpatory witness statements; the assessment of multiple government
analysts, including a CIA expert, that the day planner sketch did not match the hospital layout, and the suggestion of Air Force analysts that it was an outline of the Middle East. That Air Force assessment was consistent with Convertino’s failure to also disclose, “that Nasser Ahmed, a Yemeni man, had told [FBI Special Agent Michael] Thomas that his mentally
unstable brother Ali Ahmed might have been doodling in the day planner and drawn a map of the Middle East.” Among the evidence concealed by Convertino was that in a December 2002 letter to a man he had been in jail with, Hmimssa wrote that he
made up everything he told investigators about the defendant’s involvement in terrorism. The Washington Post reported that, Hmimssa wrote, “how he lied to the FBI, how he fooled the Secret Service agent on his case.” Convertino also failed to disclose the FBI statements by both Hmimssa and the roommate of Koubriti and Hannan detailing the life of debauchery the two men engaged in. Those statements completely discredit Convertino’s argument to the jury that the men were devout
Muslims engaged in a religious “jihad” against the West. Neither was it disclosed that after al-Marabh
was arrested, he told investigators he didn’t know any of the four defendants. Charged with an immigration law violation but not terrorism, al-Marabh pled guilty and was deported after serving an eight-month prison sentence. He was thus unavailable as a defense witness. Prosecutor Convertino filed a federal lawsuit on February 13, 2004, alleging harm from violations
of his rights under the Privacy Act. The irony of Convertino’s lawsuit is that more than two years after initiation of
the OPR’s investigation he was indicted. Convertino’s 38-page Complaint provides a rare public glimpse into the infighting, career positioning and paranoia that prevails within the inner sanctum of the U.S. Department of Justice. In March 2004 the DOJ launched a criminal investigation of Convertino. That investigation resulted in a Detroit grand jury’s issuance
of a four-count indictment on March 29, 2006. Named as defendants were Convertino and Harry Smith III. Count I alleges “Conspiracy to Obstruct Justice and Make False Declarations” relating to concealment of the military hospital photographs. Count II alleges “Obstruction of Justice,” stating in part that the defendants “… did corruptly influence, obstruct and impede, and corruptly endeavor to influence, obstruct and impede, the due administration of justice in the Koubriti case by presenting false and misleading evidence to and concealing contradictory evidence from the Court, defendants
and jurors, and by concealing such acts during a court ordered post-trial review.” Convertino and Smith were arraigned on
April 21, 2006. They stood mute when asked for their plea, so U.S. Magistrate Judge Donald Scheer entered not guilty pleas. Convertino has complained that his indictment is payback for his lawsuit against the DOJ, and his perceived disloyalty for complaining about the DOJ’s handling of terrorism cases. City officials refused to license the transfer station because of the organized crime allegations, which stemmed in part from the fact that the transfer station was bought in 1996 from two organized crime figures. Interstate is a construction company based in New Jersey that undertakes large public and private projects in the metropolitan area. That afternoon, Dewey signed an executive order declaring that Charlie Luciano would be set free on parole to his birthplace in Sicily. The country was shocked, and for those not in the know, which was virtually everyone in the world, the whole affair smelled like political corruption." "It seems to me like Justice was stood on its head. In Boston, we had a group of FBI agents who decided to throw the rules out the window. They let a lying witness send innocent men to death row and life in prison. They had a group of mob informants committing murders with impunity. They tipped of killers so they could flee before being arrested. They interfered with local investigations of drug dealing and arms smuggling. We had a bunch of criminals running around killing people under virtual FBI protection." "The ruins of the Oklahoma City federal building, ripped open by a bomb and left tottering precariously until the dead were removed, are etched in the American mind. When the signal finally came to destroy the remains of the building, a UTK alumnus' company did the job. Controlled Demolition Inc. collapsed the Murrah Building with less than 100 pounds of dynamite placed strategically at 200 points in the superstructure. The job was typical of the delicate, dangerous work Mark Loizeaux (Knoxville '71), his brother Doug, and their father, John D., do. The federal building demolition was more dangerous than most of Controlled Demolition's jobs because the remains were so unstable. The company's workers partially rebuilt some areas of the building to help control the collapse. And unlike the April 19 bomb blast that shattered windows a mile away, the demolition operation barely vibrated nearby buildings.
John D. founded CDI in the late 1940s. In 1960, at age 11, Mark began learning the business from his father and eight years later became the nation's youngest blaster. When John D. was injured in an accident, 18-year-old Mark interrupted his pursuit of an architecture degree at UTK and returned home to run the family business. After his father recovered, Mark re-enrolled, this time majoring in business. Soon after he graduated, he became president of CDI. Mark supervises the company's contracts, insurance, and engineering and takes charge of some field operations. His brother, Doug, is vice president responsible for field operations and personnel. He personally packed explosives in the Oklahoma City federal building. Stacey Loizeaux, Mark's daughter, is a licensed blaster and frequently a project manager. She was born in Knoxville while her dad attended UTK. CDI has brought down many well known structures including the Dunes Hotel in Las Vegas and the Andrew Jackson in Nashville. The Sheikh A. Akakl Center in Saudi Arabia, part of which collapsed during construction, was another of CDI's big blows. A company brochure says CDI brought down the remainder of the building without damaging facilities just two feet away on two sides." "Our experience includes involvement in recovery efforts following some of the nation's largest disasters, such as the World Trade Center attack in September of 2001 and Hurricane Katrina." "This report reviews the track record of 12 companies that have received the largest contracts for cleanup and reconstruction work in the wake of Hurricanes Katrina and Rita: Phillips and Jordan Inc. Phillips and Jordan and the Shaw Group each have annual revenues well in excess of $100 million. The fact that these companies have been long-time contractors does not mean that they have unblemished records in their government work. In fact, some of them have continued as contractors
despite repeated violations of federal regulations and other legal problems. For example, Phillips and Jordan and two of its top officers pleaded guilty to federal antitrust violations in connection with state highway projects. Phillips and Jordan has been a significant regional construction contractor for decades, and for much of that time has done substantial work for the federal government. P&J continued to receive contracts even after the company (then a unit of Kaneb Services Inc.) and two of its top officers (Phillips and Turner) pleaded guilty in 1981 to two counts of federal antitrust violations in connection with state
highway projects in North Carolina. The charges concerned a conspiracy to submit non-competitive bids. Phillips and Turner were sentenced to 60 days in a federal minimum-security prison, and the company was fined $250,000. (These events became a matter of controversy in North Carolina in 2000, when then Democratic gubernatorial candidate Mike Easley used a helicopter owned by P&J.) In 1996 P&J brought a civil rights case in federal court against the Secretary of the Florida Department
of Transportation, challenging the validity of a set-aside program for minority contractors for highway
maintenance work. A federal judge agreed with the company that the program violated the equal
protection principle of the 14th Amendment. Phillips & Jordan v. Watts, Northern District of Florida, Tallahassee Division, 13F.Supp. 2nd 1308; 1998 U.S. Dist. LEXIS 17150. In 2001 and 2002 P&J played a key role in the clean-up of Ground Zero in New York City after the 9/11 attacks on the World Trade Center. This was based on a previous contract the company had with
the Corps for disaster recovery work. In 2003 P&J was asked by the FBI to assist in searching a pond
in Maryland that was thought to contain evidence relating to the anthrax by-mail attacks in 2001.
In 2002 the North Carolina Division of Air Quality assessed a record penalty of $78,932 against P&J
for violations of open-burning regulations at a land-clearing site near Garner." "Following the September 11, 2001 World Trade Center terrorist attack, Phillips and Jordan, Inc. (P&J) was called to New York by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. P&J was tasked by the Corps as their Advanced Contracting Initiative (ACI) Disaster Debris Management Contractor to serve in a strategic planning and monitoring role. P&J was also tasked with managing the Forensic Recovery/Debris Disposal operation at the Staten Island Landfill where debris from the World Trade Center site was taken. At 11:00 the next morning, September 12th, P&J received a phone call from the Baltimore District office of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. They told us that our ACI contract might be activated and wanted to know how quickly we could respond with 100-200 dump trucks and 200 torch crews. We called them back a couple of hours later and told them everything was in readiness. ven though it was a terrible site, the P&J team didn’t feel the effort would be insurmountable. They estimated that Ground Zero looked to have about a million cubic yards of debris; we had handled four times that much following Hurricane Andrew. The City didn’t have to look very far for a place to handle the tons of debris that were being removed from Ground Zero. To meet a campaign promise, Mayor Guiliani had recently shut down the Fresh Kills Landfill on Staten Island. Newly capped with a layer of soil, the 2,200 acre landfill was a perfect choice. Phillips and Jordan officially took over management of the Staten Island Landfill Operation on October 2nd. 1,462,000 tons of debris had been received and processed. 209 victims had been positively identified." "Fresh Kills is the aptly named landfill on Staten Island, resting ground for over
fifty years to New York City’s highly orchestrated waste disposal. on September 13, 2001, the Mayor of New
York, the NYPD and the FBI announced that it would begin hauling all debris from
the freshly destroyed World Trade Center to Fresh Kills. One of the four grass-
covered trash mounds would now become the world’s largest crime lab. The following is an excerpt from the court testimony of a contracted worker
hired by Taylor Recycling Facility to sift through the rubble of the World Trade
Center: 'In the early months, we identified approximately two thousand bones per day.
I believe we found fewer body parts in the last months because we were
sifting through the debris from the bottom floors of the World Trade Center,
and the people who had been on those floors either escaped or their entire
bodies were crushed, leaving no bones. The firm Phillips and Jordan had been hired to oversee the work at Fresh
Kills. I was constantly told by their supervisors to ‘move the job,’ to run the
conveyor belts faster, and to ‘keep the tonnage up,’ referring to the tons sifted
per hour. One official did not let us drop below a certain quota of tons per
hour; another did nothing but drive around the site all day, checking our progress. Meanwhile, NYPD officers working along the conveyor belts kept telling me
to slow the belts so they could properly sift through the debris.'" "Early Sunday mornings in Vancouver, British Columbia, are normally quiet and peaceful. However, the morning of November 6, 1994 was going to be different. The Pacific Palisades Hotel was a twenty-year old, reinforced concrete building. This Hotel was about to come down a heck of a lot quicker than it had been built. The Pacific Palisades Hotel took one year to design, one year and millions of dollars to build and would take 10 seconds to bring down. Although less than 200 lbs. of dynamite and detonating ("det") cord will be required for the Pacific Palisades building, those charges have to be placed with great precision to be effective. The basic idea is to weaken the columns on one side of the building's lower floors, starting at the bottom and working upward over a period of about ten seconds. Each charge will cut through the concrete of a column and the weight of the structure above will start the collapse. Part of the art of implosion demolition involves slowing the event down in many small, calculated blasts instead of one huge explosion. That is accomplished with time-delay blasting caps that will initiate the dynamite and det cord over a period of several seconds. Explosives come in all sorts of forms--gels, granules, powders, cord, liquids, plastics (in blocks and sheets), and old reliable, stick dynamite. All have properties designed for specific conditions. Huge quantities are used every year, often in urban areas and often without anybody even noticing the detonations." "Speaking at the Campus Progress journalism conference earlier this month, Seymour Hersh — a Pulitzer-Prize winning journalist for The New Yorker — revealed that Bush administration officials held a meeting recently in the Vice President’s office to discuss ways to provoke a war with Iran. In Hersh’s most recent article, he reports that this meeting occurred in the wake of the overblown incident in the Strait of Hormuz, when a U.S. carrier almost shot at a few small Iranian speedboats. The “meeting took place in the Vice-President’s office. ‘The subject was how to create a casus belli between Tehran and Washington,’” according to one of Hersh’s sources. Hersh explained that, during the meeting in Cheney’s office, an idea was considered to dress up Navy Seals as Iranians, put them on fake Iranian speedboats, and shoot at them. HERSH: 'There was a dozen ideas proffered about how to trigger a war. The one that interested me the most was why don’t we build — we in our shipyard — build four or five boats that look like Iranian PT boats. Put Navy seals on them with a lot of arms. Planes that vanished then mysteriously reappeared, and crucial evidence that has been lost for ever. In the Pentagon, a top secret team drew up a plan to simultaneously send up two airliners painted and numbered exactly the same, one from a civil airport in America, the other from a secret military airbase nearby. The one from the airport would have military personnel on board who had checked in as ordinary passengers under false names. The one from the airbase would be an empty drone, a remote-controlled unmanned aircraft. Somewhere along their joint flight paths, the passenger-carrying plane would drop below radar height, and disappear, landing back at the airbase and unloading its occupants in secret. Meanwhile, the drone would have taken up the other plane's designated course. "In the early 1960s, America's top military leaders reportedly drafted plans to kill innocent people and commit acts of terrorism in U.S. cities to create public support for a war against Cuba. Code named Operation NORTHWOODS, the plans reportedly included the possible assassination of Cuban émigrés, sinking boats of Cuban refugees on the high seas, hijacking planes, blowing up a U.S. ship, and even orchestrating violent terrorism in U.S. cities. The plans were developed as ways to trick the American public and the international community into supporting a war to oust Cuba's then new leader, communist Fidel Castro. America's top military brass even contemplated causing U.S. military casualties, writing: "We could blow up a U.S. ship in Guantanamo Bay and blame Cuba," and, "casualty lists in U.S. newspapers would cause a helpful wave of national indignation." The plans had the written approval of all of the Joint Chiefs of Staff and were presented to President Kennedy's defense secretary, Robert McNamara, in March 1962. But they apparently were rejected by the civilian leadership and have gone undisclosed for nearly 40 years. The Joint Chiefs at the time were headed by Eisenhower appointee Army Gen. Lyman L. Lemnitzer, who, with the signed plans in hand made a pitch to McNamara on March 13, 1962, recommending Operation Northwoods be run by the military. Whether the Joint Chiefs' plans were rejected by McNamara in the meeting is not clear. But three days later, President Kennedy told Lemnitzer directly there was virtually no possibility of ever using overt force to take Cuba, Bamford reports. Within months, Lemnitzer would be denied another term as chairman and transferred to another job. Ironically, the documents came to light, says Bamford, in part because of the 1992 Oliver Stone film JFK, which examined the possibility of a conspiracy behind the assassination of President Kennedy. "The scary thing is none of this stuff comes out until 40 years after," says Bamford." "We could blow up a drone (unmannded) vessel anywhere in the Cuban waters. The presense of Cuban planes or ships merely investigating the intent of the vessel could be fairly compelling evidence that the ship was taken under attack. The US could follow with an air/sea rescue operation covered by US fighters to "evacuate" remaining members of the non-existant crew. Casualty lists in US newspapers would cause a helpful wave of national indignation. We could develop a Communist Cuba terror campaign in the Miami area, in other Flordia cities and even in Washington. The terror campaign could be pointed at Cuban refugees seeking haven in the United States. Use of MIG-type aircraft by US pilots could provide additional provocation. Harassment of civil air, attacks on surface shipping, and destruction of US military drone aircraft by MIG type palnes would be useful. An F-86 properly painted would convince air passengers that they saw a Cuban MIG, especially if the pilot of the transport were to announce that fact. Hijacking attampts against US civil air and surface craft should be encouraged. It is possible to create an incident which would demonstrate convincingly that a Cuban aircraft has attacked and shot down a chartered civilian airliner from the United States. An aircraft at Eglin AFB would be painted and numbered as an exact duplicate for a civil registered aircraft belonging to a CIA proprietary organization in the Miami area. At a designated time the duplicate would be subsituted for the actual civil aircraft and the passengers, all boarded under carefully prepared aliases. The actual registered aircraft would be converted to a drone. Take off times of the drone aircraft and the actual aircraft will be scheduled to allow a rondevous. From the rondevous point the passenger-carrying aircraft will descend to minimum altitude and go directly to an auxiliary airfield at Eglin AFB where arrangements will have been made to evacuate the passengers and return the aircraft to its original status. Meanwhile the drone aircraft will continue to fly the filed flight plan. The drone will be transmitting on the international distress frequency "MAY DAY" message stating it is under attack by Cuban MIG aircraft. The transmission will be interrupted by the destruction of aircraft which will be triggered by radio signal. This will allow IACO radio stations to tell the US what has happened to the aircraft instead of the US trying to "sell" the incident. It is possible to create an incident that will make it appear that Communist Cuban MIGs have destroyed a USAF aircraft over international waters in an unprovoked attack. On one such flight, a pre-briefed pilot would fly Tail-end Charlie. While near the Cuban island this pilot would broadcast that he had been jumped by MIGs and was going down. This pilot would then fly at extremely low altitude and land at a secure base, an Eglin auxiliary. The aircraft would be met by the proper people, quickly stored and given a new tail number. The pilot who performed the mission under an alias would resume his proper identity. The pilot and aircraft would then have disappeared. A submarine or small craft would distribute F-101 parts, parachute, etc. The pilots retuning to Homestead would have a true story as far as they knew. Search ships and aircraft could be dispatched and parts of aircraft found." "Gladio (Italian, from Latin gladius, meaning sword) is a code name denoting the clandestine NATO "stay-behind" operation in Italy after World War II, intended to counter a Warsaw Pact invasion of Western Europe. Although Gladio specifically refers to the Italian branch of the NATO stay-behind organisations, Operation Gladio is the code name for all stay-behind organisations. Operating in all of NATO and even in some neutral countries or in Spain before its 1982 adhesion to NATO, Gladio was first coordinated by the Clandestine Committee of the Western Union (CCWU), founded in 1948. After the creation of NATO in 1949, the CCWU was integrated into the Clandestine Planning Committee (CPC), founded in 1951 and overseen by the SHAPE (Supreme Headquarters Allied Powers Europe), transferred to Belgium after France’s official withdrawal from NATO in 1966 — which was not followed by the dissolution of the French stay-behind paramilitary movements. According to historian Daniele Ganser, one of the major researchers on the field, "Next to the CPC, a second secret army command center, labeled the Allied Clandestine Committee (ACC), was set up in 1957 on the orders of NATO's Supreme Allied Commander in Europe (SACEUR). This military structure provided for significant US leverage over the secret stay-behind networks in Western Europe as the SACEUR, throughout NATO's history, has traditionally been a US General who reports to the Pentagon in Washington and is based in NATO's Supreme Headquarters Allied Powers Europe (SHAPE) in Mons, Belgium. The ACC's duties included elaborating on the directives of the network, developing its clandestine capability, and organizing bases in Britain and the United States. In wartime, it was to plan stay-behind operations in conjunction with SHAPE. According to former CIA director William Colby, it was 'a major program'." The role of the CIA in sponsoring Gladio and the extent of its activities during the Cold War era, and its relationship to attacks perpetrated in Italy during the years of lead and other similar clandestine operations is the subject of ongoing debate and investigation. Italy, Switzerland and Belgium have had parliamentary inquiries into the matter. The US State Department has denied involvement in terrorism and stated that some of the claims have been influenced by what it presents as a Soviet forgery, US Army Field Manual 30-31B. However, internal subversion was also considered, as the use of "false flag operations" (terror attacks attributed to the opposite side). "A briefing minute of June 1, 1959, reveals Gladio was built around 'internal subversion'. It was to play 'a determining role… not only on the general policy level of warfare, but also in the politics of emergency'. In the 1970s, with communist electoral support growing and other leftists looking menacing, the establishment turned to the 'Strategy of Tension' … with Gladio eager to be involved." The rising importance of communist parties in some countries, especially in Italy in the 1970s, led to the effective realization of those plans. CIA founder Allen Dulles was one of the key people in instituting Operation Gladio, and most of Gladio’s operations were financed by the CIA. On November 22, 1990, the European Parliament passed a resolution condemning Gladio, requesting full investigations – which have yet to be done – and total dismantlement of these paramilitary structures – which, as of 2005, has not been proven. The resolution condemned "the existence for 40 years of a clandestine parallel intelligence" as well as "armed operations organization in several Member States of the Community", which "escaped all democratic controls and has been run by the secret services of the states concerned in collaboration with NATO." Denouncing the "danger that such clandestine network may have interfered illegally in the internal political affairs of Member States or may still do so," especially before the fact that "in certain Member States military secret services (or uncontrolled branches thereof) were involved in serious cases of terrorism and crime," the Parliament demanded a "a full investigation into the nature, structure, aims and all other aspects of these clandestine organizations or any splinter groups, their use for illegal interference in the internal political affairs of the countries concerned, the problem of terrorism in Europe and the possible collusion of the secret services of Member States or third countries." Furthermore, the resolution protested "vigorously at the assumption by certain US military personnel at SHAPE and in NATO of the right to encourage the establishment in Europe of a clandestine intelligence and operation network," asking "the Member States to dismantle all clandestine military and paramilitary networks" and to "draw up a complete list of organizations active in this field, and at the same time to monitor their links with the respective state intelligence services and their links, if any, with terrorist action groups and/or other illegal practices." Finally, the Parliament called "on its competent committee to consider holding a hearing in order to clarify the role and impact of the 'Gladio' organization and any similar bodies," and instructed "its President to forward this resolution to the Commission, the Council, the Secretary-General of NATO, the governments of the Member States and the United States Government." Thirdly, this course will rely somewhat extensively on alternative news media accounts and a variety of films and videos in lieu of literature.” That second paragraph reminds me of the “Brad Goodman” character on an old episode of “The Simpsons.” He was a feel-good self-help guru and charlatan who proudly told his audiences, “I don't have any credentials -- or training -- but I have a Ph.D. in pain.” By the same token, this course doesn't have political science -- or a scientific approach -- but it has a Ph.D. in kooky conspiracy-mongering. For her “911 The Road to Tyranny” class, Christensen lists the following websites as “recommended reading” that “should be visited every day”: rense.com, www.libertythink.com, www.counterpunch.org, www.prisonplanet.com, www.wsws.org, www.globalresearch.ca, and www.copvcia.com [and September 911 Surprise]. Christensen lists in a larger, bold-faced text and pronounces “one of the best on the web!: Alex Jones' Infowars.com.” What “collegiate” material does this website feature? This stellar site also has several issue archives; among them are: “Prior Knowledge: Sept. 11” [including September 911 Surprise]. Another issue archive is “Bohemian Grove,” which has corroborating DVD advertisements. One asks “WHAT IS BOHEMIAN GROVE?” to which it provides the answer: “Since 1873, the Global Elite Has Held Secret Meetings in the Ancient Redwood Forest of Northern California. Members of the so-called 'Bohemian Club' Include Former Presidents Eisenhower, Nixon and Reagan. The Bush Family Maintains a Strong Involvement. Each Year at Bohemian Grove, Members of This All-Male 'Club' Don Red, Black and Silver Robes and Conduct an Occult Ritual Wherein They Worship a Giant Stone Owl, Sacrificing a Human Being in Effigy to What They Call the 'Great Owl of Bohemia.'" Alex Jones is also quoted; he says, “This is like something out of a Hollywood movie, where teenagers are out camping in the wilderness and come over a hill and witness some devil cult in black and red garb sacrificing some poor soul on a bloody altar.” It bears repeating at this point that the quoted matter above is from a website listed as “required reading” and “one of the best sites on the web” in a college course at N.C. Wesleyan -- a course that takes its name from a title of film by the same Alex Jones, "911 The Road to Tyranny." N.C. Wesleyan should be proud." "For weeks, I have toyed with the idea of writing a column about Ward Churchill. I just can't seem to muster the energy. Maybe it's because there are so many professors here in North Carolina who are every bit as crazy and incompetent as the now infamous Colorado professor. For example, there is Jane Christensen who teaches at North Carolina Wesleyan College. One look at her webpage makes me proud to be a Methodist. It isn't really the picture of Jane holding an M-16 with a black hood over her head that bothers me. I am more bothered by her refusal to return my phone calls so we can discuss the content of her web page and some of her courses. Her webpage links to some interesting articles, which say some interesting things. An example follows: "America is fighting wars in Afghanistan and Iraq under Zionist control...Jews rule America (and most of the world) by proxy. They trick us into fighting and dying for THEM. Politicians of the 'free world' are too cowardly to oppose Zionism." Another link presents the theory that Ariel Sharon is preparing to launch attacks in America: "Israel is embarking upon a more aggressive approach to the war on terror that will include staging targeted killings in the United States and other friendly countries..." Another link says that Israel is preparing to launch a nuclear attack on Iran: "a team of U.S. computer specialists flew to Diego Garcia to fit the latest version of the software known as 'over the horizon.' This would allow a Harpoon (equipped with a nuclear warhead) to hit Iran's nuclear establishments with pinpoint accuracy." The first reader comment on that article is posted under the name "Killing Jews is Good." Nothing more need be said. Before you conclude that Professor Christensen's site recommends only anti-Semitic readings, note the following: "The invasion of Iraq in March 2003 by coalition forces has lead to the death of at least 100,000 civilians, reveals the first scientific study...of almost 1000 households scattered across Iraq." You read that correctly. A scientific study "of almost 1000 households" determined that we killed 100,000 civilians in Iraq before the November election. Given these "recommended readings," I know most of you will be shocked at the first two questions on Christensen's final exam for a class called "The American Presidency": "1. How has the war on terrorism contributed to the powers of the Bush presidency? (Discuss at least 4 ways). 2. Discuss the sweeping attack on democratic rights under the Bush administration and what this means for the future of democratic government in America." No leading questions, here! But, in all fairness, Bush "43" isn't Christensen's only target in class. She tells students to go to Alex Jones' website, Infowars.com, (and to use it as an official reference) because "It's one of the best on the web!" This is not just a recommended reading. It is a required reading where students can learn nasty things about Reagan and Bush "41." For example, the site reports that there were homosexual prostitution rings within the Reagan and Bush White Houses. The prostitutes were little boys sent by Soviet spies to engage in, not just sodomy, but espionage. The site also speaks of "homosexual prostitution and pedophile criminal acts in a suppressed but far-reaching child sex-ring probe closely linked to Senate and House members--but also former President George H. W. Bush." As you read this site (remembering that "it's one of the best on the web"), the words "911," "they (the Bush administration) knew," "they not only let it happen," and "they made it happen" come flashing across the screen. Remember Orwell's 1984? In all fairness, the content of the Jones' site isn't always anti-Semitic like many of the other recommended and required readings for Christensen's class. For example, the site blames the Bush family for funding the build-up of the Hitler regime in the 1930s. At least that assertion implies there is something wrong with gassing the Jews. If all this is getting to be too much to believe, just go to the site and search for the article, "How Bush's grandfather helped Hitler's rise to power." Dr. Christensen gets a bad rep because people at our school will not open up their minds to anything other than what they believe. I don't believe everything she is spouting off in class, but I listen to her and her ideas and then go out and educate myself... Very Interesting Class, if you take Dr. Christensen though be ready challenge your own beliefs and to accept the ideas of something different then what your stupid box tells you... Great professor with excellent views. Maybe some people don't get her. Maybe they need to wake up out of their liberal dreamworld...
