Knox County also has a serious problem with with 20,000 "disappearing" votes in each "election", thanks to the FOREIGN military contractor, Danaher Systems, that "counts" all votes.

This appears to be a violation of Constitutional Separation of Powers doctrine, making the Tennessee Judiciary a part of the dictatorial executive branch. Has there ever been an intelligent court challenge that addressed the Separation of Powers doctrine, specifically on these issues, taken to both the Tennessee Supreme court, and appealed from Tennessee to the US Supreme Court? Just because this is the current procedure, or court "opinion", does not make it moral, ethical, legal, lawful, constitutional, nor guaranteed from reversal in the future. Slavery was once legal, too, according to all US courts and legislatures. The current procedure is not good public policy, and it's possible it will be reversed by future court decisions, or from constitutional amendments.

Even the Tennessee governor and Tennessee attorney general believes it's unconstitutional for Tennessee judges to be hired by the current process. So in September 2006, the Tennessee attorney general sued to protest the unconstitutionality of the Tennessee Supreme Court hiring process, which is identical to the hiring of Tennessee appellate judges.

Many Tennessee judges are not "licensed trial lawyers" (whatever that means), both in General Sessions courts and city or metro courts, and those so-called "judges" ("pro se judges") cannot handle any criminal trials, which would violate the Tennessee Constitution ("pro se" is Latin for "without a lawyer"). These "judges" are not unconstitutional because they aren't "licensed lawyers" (any pro se adult can be admitted to The Bar of any court by any judge, and any adult can represent any other person in any trial via "Power of Attorney In Fact" contract, aka "pro se for a pro se"), but because they are appointed by the executive branch, serve at the whim of the executive or legislative branch, and are not elected to 8-year terms. All municipal "city" judges violate the Tennessee Constitution, so none are allowed to handle criminal trials, since those fake "judges" are employees of the executive branch, not the judicial branch, which violates the Constitutional Separation of Powers doctrine. Sharon Lee was a part-time "city" judge, as her only judicial experience before her promotion to court of appeals. Likewise, all General Sessions court judges break the law on a daily basis, according to Tennessee Attorney General Opinion in August 2006 (Opinion No. 06-135), which merely agrees with the winning Answer to Complaint filed by John Lee in Blount County General Sessions Court in January 2006.

Nearly three-quarters of the judges are not lawyers, and many — truck drivers, sewer workers or laborers — have scant grasp of the most basic legal principles. Some never got through high school, and at least one went no further than grade school. But serious things happen in these little rooms all over New York State. People have been sent to jail without a guilty plea or a trial, or tossed from their homes without a proper proceeding. In violation of the law, defendants have been refused lawyers, or sentenced to weeks in jail because they cannot pay a fine. Frightened women have been denied protection from abuse. These are New York’s town and village courts, or justice courts, as the 1,250 of them are widely known. In the public imagination, they are quaint holdovers from a bygone era, handling nothing weightier than traffic tickets and small claims. They get a roll of the eyes from lawyers who amuse one another with tales of incompetent small-town justices. A woman in Malone, N.Y., was not amused. A mother of four, she went to court in that North Country village seeking an order of protection against her husband, who the police said had choked her, kicked her in the stomach and threatened to kill her. The justice, Donald R. Roberts, a former state trooper with a high school diploma, not only refused, according to state officials, but later told the court clerk, “Every woman needs a good pounding every now and then.” And several people in the small town of Dannemora were intimidated by their longtime justice, Thomas R. Buckley, a phone-company repairman who cursed at defendants and jailed them without bail or a trial, state disciplinary officials found. Feuding with a neighbor over her dog’s running loose, he threatened to jail her and ordered the dog killed. 'I just follow my own common sense,” Mr. Buckley, in an interview, said of his 13 years on the bench. “And the hell with the law.' The New York Times spent a year examining the life and history of this largely hidden world, a constellation of 1,971 part-time justices, from the suburbs of New York City to the farm towns near Niagara Falls. It is impossible to say just how many of those justices are ill-informed or abusive. Officially a part of the state court system, yet financed by the towns and villages, the justice courts are essentially unsupervised by either. State court officials know little about the justices, and cannot reliably say how many cases they handle or how many are appealed. Even the agency charged with disciplining them, the State Commission on Judicial Conduct, is not equipped to fully police their vast numbers. In 2003 alone, justices disciplined by the state included one in Montgomery County who had closed his court to the public and let prosecutors run the proceedings during 20 years in office. Another, in Westchester County, had warned the police not to arrest his political cronies for drunken driving, and asked a Lebanese-American with a parking ticket if she was a terrorist. A third, in Delaware County, had been convicted of having sex with a mentally retarded woman in his care. And it has left its justices with the same powers — more than in many states — even though governors, blue-ribbon commissions and others have been denouncing the courts as outdated and unjust since as far back as 1908, when a justice in Westchester County set up a roadside speed trap, fining drivers for whatever cash they were carrying. Nearly a century later, a 76-year-old Elmira man who contested a speeding ticket in Newfield, outside Ithaca, was jailed without even a warning for three days in 2003 because he called the sheriff’s deputy a liar. 'I thought, this is not America,' said the man, Michael J. Pronti, who spent two years and $8,000 before a state appeals court ruled that he had been improperly jailed. The reason is plain: Many do not know or seem to care what the law is. Justices are not screened for competence, temperament or even reading ability."

"A 17-year-old girl who said in a federal lawsuit that she was coerced into disrobing and putting on revealing lingerie in the office of a Blount County judicial commissioner will receive $45,000, according to a settlement filed today. On Dec. 14 the girl, identified only as Jane Doe, sued former Judicial Commissioner Dustin Hatcher, as well as Blount County, the Circuit Court Clerk’s office for whom Hatcher worked, and other unnamed county employees who may have had knowledge of the incident, claiming Hatcher had summoned her to his office in the Blount County Justice Center on Nov. 30 and used his position to coerce her into putting on revealing lingerie and perfume in his presence. The suit claimed Hatcher then took digital photographs of the girl in the attire and others of her as she changed back into her own clothes. Some of the pictures showed her bare breasts, the suit said. Hatcher also was accused of showing the pictures to other employees in the Justice Center. Wednesday’s settlement places the settlement money, less the $15,500 in attorney fees, in possession of the Blount County Clerk and Master’s Office until she reaches age 18 this spring, at which time the money will be turned over to her. "I am pleased on behalf of Jane Doe,' the girl’s attorney, Gregory P. Isaacs, said today. 'It was an unfortunate situation that brought the parties together, but we were able to obtain a favorable result that will allow Jane Doe to pay for her education.' The settlement documents, signed by Blount County Circuit Judge Dale Young, say the 'costs of this case are taxed to Blount County.' A parallel Tennessee Bureau of Investigation probe into the case continues. 'The criminal case is ongoing,'" said TBI spokeswoman Jennifer Johnson."

"A federal lawsuit accuses a former Blount County magistrate of coercing a teen girl into questionable acts. The lawsuit filed Friday night claims Dustin Hatcher committed the acts in his county office. The lawsuit filed by an unidentified 17-year-old girl and her mother in U.S. District Court claims Hatcher called the teen to his office at the Blount County Justice Center. Once there, the suit alleges Hatcher told the girl to put on lingerie and perfume. The suit claims Hatcher then took pictures of her bare breasts. He then allegedly showed the pictures to other county employees. Hatcher is the son of Blount County Circuit Court clerk Tom Hatcher [who is a former deputy sheriff but not a licensed lawyer], who is also named as a defendant, along with Blount County, the clerk's office and other male and female county employees. 6 News was unable to get a comment from Dustin or his father. Dustin Hatcher resigned from office on December 2 after the Tennessee Bureau of Investigations began investigating him. Though these are still only accusations, Blount County residents say the news is shocking. 'It's kind of amazing you'd have someone in that position accused of doing something like that,' said one man. 'Sick. Public officials should be above reproach not doing things like that,' a woman told 6 News. The lawsuit says the girl suffered "emotional distress" from this "nonconsensual sexual assault." She is seeking damages. Hatcher family relatives told 6 News they don't believe the allegations. This is not the first time the Hatchers have made the news. Just last month, Tom Hatcher repaid Blount County close to $4,000 out of his department account for a degree he earned from a non-accredited online college."

Judge Hatcher purchased his "Bachelor's degree" and "Master's degree" on the same day, from Columbus University, an unaccredited online mail-order scheme, which also sells "Law Degrees" for "Doctors of Law". Many judges in Tennessee also lack college degrees, lack law degrees, never passed a BAR exam, yet are "licensed to practice law without a license" by the county/state circuit courts, acting under authority from the Tennessee Supreme Court, as well as an "unknown number" of "municipal courts", and "unincorporated non-municipal courts".

Bush & Co. deny the U.S. uses torture but reject the basic law of habeaus corpus and U.S. laws against the evil practice. The UN says Bush’s plans violate international law and the Geneva Conventions. This week’s tentative agreement between Bush and Congress may somewhat limit torture, but exempts U.S. officials from having to observe the Geneva Convention."
